Great little hotel with some surprising luxuries

This lovely little hotel is handy for the Brecon Beacons for walkers or for the BMW road or off-road schools. From the outside it looks a bit ordinary but once inside the rooms are spacious with luxury linen on the beds, huge bathrooms with double showers and the staff are welcoming, personal and friendly.

The restaurant turns out excellent food (though the portions are built for the walkers and off-roaders so resist the side dishes!) and the locals who use the bar are friendly and chatty.
